The Curriculum Committee considers all curriculum developments such as the Diplomas and the International Baccalaureate and provides support to colleges as necessary. 

Committee work includes:

§         Developing the SFBac by:

-          Co-ordinating the SFBac Pilot Scheme

-          Promoting the SFBac to HE institutions and employers etc

-          Creating media interest in the SFBac

-          Researching funding possibilities

-          Expanding the Pilot to at least 25 Sixth Form Colleges

 §         Monitoring and responding to curriculum developments

 §         Supporting colleges introducing the IB

-          Holding training events

-          Creating a forum for SFC IB practitioners to share good practice

§    Organising annual Spring Teaching and Learning Conference
